WHAT IS IT ABOUT?: Saga about a fictional Mafia family in the late 1940's in America. Contrast between Caan's character ( the violent-pront Sonny) and his brother (play by Pacino) is one the themes in the movie. Brandon plays the head of the family (and won an Oscar for his role). Envy and revenge mix with the life style of this family. An instant American classic.
BEST LINE:
WHAT DO I THINK: A great view at the Mafia. Extremely well acted, with spellbinding performances. Pacino is great as the noble youngest in the family. Bloody violent, yet provokingly touching. Great relation and chemistry between Brando and Pacino. Check out the scene with the horse head, and the shooting at the toll booth. Full of details.
