WHAT IS IT ABOUT?: One the most quoted movies of all times, it is the story of a love that cannot be. Bogart is the owner of a bar in Nazi-occupied French Morocco. Everything goes smoothly so far for Bogart, until he meets with old love flame Bergman (who is married to someone else). Bogart will have to decide between leaving with Bergman or helping her husband. The final scene is one the best ever filmed.

BEST LINE:"Here is looking at you kid"

WHAT DO I THINK: A true clasic for all movie lovers. The final scene is one of the most rewarding scene ever. Just a proof that you can do a great movie, without having the hero winning always. Bogart is great as always. With this movie, he moved from gangster/detective roles to leading man.

The final scene was written on the fly during the last shootings. Originally, another actor (George Raft) was picked to play the part that went to Bogart. Several versions for the ending scene were filmed. Bogart made number one in a list presenting the best actors and actresses of all times.
